Harbor House provides a safe, 24/7 shelter for survivors of domestic abuse and outreach services.
Deep cleaning volunteers will help clean around the shelter, including but not limited to, disinfecting doorknobs and common touch points, dusting, wiping down baseboards, sweeping and/or vacuuming, room flipping, and/or per need cleaning.
Qualifications: Detail oriented, ability to bend, no lifting restrictions, ability to work alone with little supervision.
All volunteers in this role must pass background checks & complete VIRTUS. VIRTUS is a 3 hour class that teaches adults the signs of child abuse and neglect, as well as the best practices we follow to keep children and vulnerable adults safe in our ministry.
