Please come participate with Young Leaders United as we volunteer at the Kansas Humane Society to create enrichment items for animals in the shelter. Enrichment items help shelter animals keep their mind active and healthy while they are in an unusual environment. This resource helps occupy the animals while they wait for their FURever family to find them and also brings a little extra joy and comfort to their day.
While there, we will also get to interact with some shelter animals and hear more about how KHS helps our community.
If you have items that you can donate as well, such as peanut butter, newspaper, empty paper towel rolls or dog and cat treats, that would be greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you there!
