Description

The Wichita chapter of the International Rescue Committee will be hosting a citizenship workshop September 16th, 2017 at Evergreen Recreation Center to help U.S. permanent residents complete their applications to become citizens of the United States.

We are searching for 20 or more volunteers to help with our citizenship workshop. The workshop is 09/16/2017 at Evergreen Park in Wichita from 9:30 to 3:30. There are two volunteer shifts: 9:30am to 12:30pm and 1pm to 3:30pm.

This workshop is to help permanent residents (green card holders) to complete their N-400 (Application to become a U.S Citizen/Naturalize). We divide the task into different stations, that help people complete the application step by step.

This is a great way to get involved and help your fellow citizens of Wichita. Volunteers will be doing activities such as typing, inputting information, screening clients, making copies and helping the event run well. We have addition information on our Facebook page.
