United Way of the Plains is calling on our community to join us for our third annual Day of Action, an event that mobilizes the caring power of volunteers to fuel impact in our own backyard. On June 18, we’ll roll up our sleeves and spread out across our community to bolster local nonprofits through meaningful, hands-on projects.

8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Kickoff and Celebration Events at Distillery 244

7:45 a.m.: Doors Open
8 a.m.: Breakfast from Hightower Kitchen
8:30 a.m.: Welcome & Keynote Message
8:45 a.m.: Smile! Group Photo
9:00 a.m.: Dismiss to Work Site
9:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.: Volunteer!
Noon: Celebration party featuring lunch from Bite Me BBQ, Salted Creamery Ice Cream, music and raffles.

Put the call out to your coworkers, friends, family and neighbors to join you. We’ll be tackling basic construction, landscaping, organizing, cleaning, and kit assembly at 11 charitable organizations (listed below).
Register by Wednesday, June 10
Spots are limited! Children ages 12 and up are welcome to participate with an adult. Some projects are also available for corporate teams. Please see specific activities for age requirements and other limitations.
