United Way Day of Action 2026

Roll up your sleeves and join the #ForceForGood!

United Way of the Plains is rallying volunteers for our community’s third annual Day of Action on Thursday, June 18. On this day, we will join a global movement with thousands of people in hundreds of locations to create meaningful impact.

Rally your coworkers, friends, family and neighbors to join you. Local projects include basic construction, creating welcome home kits, landscaping, organizing, general cleanup and more!

Thursday, June 18
8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Kickoff and Wrap-Up Events at Distillery 244
244 N. Mosley

7:45 a.m.: Doors Open
8 a.m.: Breakfast from Hightower Kitchen
8:30 a.m.: Welcome & Keynote Message
8:45 a.m.: Group Photo

9:00 a.m.: Dismiss to Work Site
9:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.: Volunteer!
Noon: Celebration party featuring lunch from Bite Me BBQ, Salted Creamery Ice Cream, music and raffles.

Register by Monday, June 10
Spots are limited! Children ages 12 and up are welcome to participate with an adult. Some projects are also available for corporate teams. Please see specific activities for age requirements and other limitations.

To register as an individual, click the orange "Respond" button. If this is your first time registering for a project, you will be prompted to create an account.

To register as a team, click the orange "Respond as a Team" button. You will have the option to name your team and add team members. If you have not identified your team members, you can reserve slots. You can edit the number of slots needed at a future date.
