IRC Citizenship Workshop

We are searching for 20 or more volunteers to help with our citizenship workshop. The workshop is 11/11/2017 at the International Rescue Committee in Wichita.

IF YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER YOU MUST ATTEND A TRAINING OR COMPLETE A TRAINING WITH COLE. 

Come to the IRC office at 1530 S. Oliver STE 270. Call or text Cole at (913) 271-5473 if you have questions about logistics. 


PLEASE BRING A LAPTOP IF YOU CAN. WE WILL BE DOING SOME ONLINE TRAINING. 

This workshop is to help permanent residents (green card holders) to complete their N-400 (Application to become a U.S Citizen/Naturalize). We divide the task into different stations, that help people complete the application step by step. 

At our trainings we will describe the responsibillites of each station and give volunteers their roles at the workshop. 

This workshop requires committed volunteers willing to be trained and display trust, responsibility, commitment and professionalism.

This is a great way to get involved and help your fellow citizens of Wichita.

We may see speakers of Arabic, Spanish, Vietnamese, Swahili and/or French at this event. Anyone with language skills will be a tremendous addition, but it is not required.
