Prepare the winter shelter for November opening. Clean out clothes closet, scrub kitchen, lots of miscellaneous cleaning tasks.
The need for a homeless shelter is greater than our year-round capacity, so for the five coldest months of the year, HumanKind Ministries operates the no-barrier Men’s Emergency Winter Shelter to provide dinner, breakfast, clean clothes and a safe, warm, dry place to sleep for anyone who needs it. More than 100 men are served on most nights between November 1 – March 31.
