Love to bake? Want to make a difference? Make bite-size desserts for this year's annual Empty Bowls Project Wichita Chili Cook-off!
Empty Bowls Project is an international grassroots movement to help end hunger. Ceramic artists around the world participate every year—and so does Wichita! Join Empty Bowls and fight hunger in our community by raising money for the Kansas Food Bank. On the day of the Empty Bowls Chili Cook‐Off, guests are presented with hundreds of bowls made by artists and community members, and dozens of chilies, soups and delicious desserts to try. Guests pay $20 at the door and select a ceramic bowl to keep. They take their newfound bowl, fill it with chili/soup and eat to their heart’s content.
Dessert Donations: Please drop off at the Kansas Food Bank on Oct 27 between 8:00 a.m.‐4:00 p.m. or the west entrance of WSU – Henrion Hall on Oct 28 between 9:30 a.m.‐10:15 a.m.
