Our Daily Bread Food Pantry - Shopper

Our Daily Bread Food Pantry provides food to families in need.

Description: Shopper volunteers help clients while shopping, pack food into bags, stock shelves, sort items in freezer and load client cars.

All volunteers in this role must pass background checks and complete VIRTUS training. VIRTUS is a 3 hour class that teaches adults the signs of child abuse and neglect, as well as the best practices we follow to keep children and vulnerable adults safe in our ministry.

Qualifications include: Ability to bend, crouch, stand for extended periods of time and lift at least 10 lbs required. Volunteers in this position may work outside in all types of weather.  Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese welcome!

Volunteers are needed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and every 4th Saturday from 8:15 a.m. to 12 p.m.
