Volunteer: Write notes of EncouragementWrite notes of encouragement for our homeless for us to place in their breakfast sacks. We have had to move to grab and go breakfast, limiting the amount of time we can spend socializing with our community. Please help us by writing kind notes of encouragement and hope to be placed in the sacks. While the quarantine helps prevent the virus, it is further isolating our community. It can also act as writing practice for children who are now doing school from home. You can mail your notes to us, call ahead to drop off, or scan and send them to our email. Hours are Tues-Friday from 7:15 am to 8:15 am and 8:15 to 9:30 am. Volunteers typically work one day a week, and schedules are flexible. We welcome groups. Volunteers must be able to stand for an extended periods. Volunteers will need a valid food handler’s license (or in process).
